At Momentum, we believe that quality is a culture, expressed in the way we interact with and cater to the needs of our customers, and in the products and processes we deliver to them. Not only have we met several external quality parameters, we are even more stringent about setting and meeting our own standards. Quality is a continuous process that is reflected in our emphasis on making every team member a part of its processes and methodologies.

We began our quality process journey with ISO 9001 in areas of design, development and support. It was followed up with SEI CMM Level 4 assessment for our development centre in May 2002 and up gradation to ISO 9001:2000 in December 2002.

Our Global Delivery Center was certified at SEI CMM Level 5 in May 2003.

All of our assessments have been and are being carried out by respected institutions like KPMG and DNV (Det Norske Veritas) B.V.

In January, 2006, we received ISO 9001:2000 re-certification for ‘Design, Development and Testing of Application and System Software’.

In July, 2006, we successfully underwent a surveillance audit by DNV for Risk Based Management System Certification - under accreditation of the Dutch Council for Accreditation (RvA).

We are currently on track towards achieving CMMI v1.2 Level 5, the assessment for which is expected in early 2007.

Our project management techniques, risk management processes and quality control measures enable us to complete projects with a high level of certainty. Continuous process improvement is built into our well defined work practices. The Organization’s Process Group (OPG) and the Quality Assurance Group (QAG) at Momentum enable this to happen. The OPG collates the process improvement suggestions across the organization, evaluates them, pilots them, and makes modifications to the defined process based on the pilot efforts. The QAG subsequently verifies the implementation of these processes and provides the feedback to the OPG.
