The Challenge:
The client wanted sustenance engineering services for its core application developed by a third-party. There was added complexity due to the lack of any documentation on the application.


The Solution:
Momentum maintained a dedicated team at its offshore development centre for the client. Momentum successfully provided sustenance engineering services through the offshore team by following a well defined methodology:

• Momentum provided a core team and followed a well-structured methodology for the effective transfer of domain knowledge to its core team members.
• A local consultant interfaced with client's business and IT groups to capture the domain specific knowledge.
• A strong focus was laid on documenting various pieces of missing information, which was necessary for the team members to understand the basic application.
