The client is a leader in semiconductor equipment health monitoring and advanced fault detection enterprise software solutions.


The Challenge:
The project required the design and development of browser-based data viewing capabilities for various streams of data. The system also had to be highly configurable. In addition, there were challenges related to handling of large volumes of data in real time.


The Solution:
Momentum created an offshore development centre and had an onshore requirements gathering consultant and a project manager working with the client.

• The team at the offshore development center worked on the development of the product consisting of a graphical library, client side application and a server component.
• The offshore team followed standard development methodologies and created a comprehensive framework to effectively communicate with the client's on-site IT team.
• Momentum's team used various collaborative tools and it’s CMM accessed process was optimized keeping in mind the needs of such a mechanism.
• Momentum also had a Project Manager, working on-site to help the client's management team and to ensure that the client's management bandwidth was spared.
• Momentum also worked closely with the client to ensure effective knowledge transfer in the domain related to Yield Management and equipment health monitoring.
